Mailbox

Your Mailbox is the first screen you see after logging in.  It is from here that you retrieve completed reports and navigate throughout the system. 

The system automatically sends you an email message when reports are set to complete by the investigator, so there is no need to monitor your Mailbox.  A list of completed reports (and Previews - explained later) is displayed in your Mailbox.

Note that there are three completed reports in the above example (see Completion Dates).   The first two are for Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln.  The third is an employment screening report and the fourth is a "Preview." 

Previews are used by investigators (at their discretion) to bring certain findings to your attention prior to report completion.  You will receive an email message alerting you that a Preview is available for viewing.

To view a completed report (or Preview), click on the Report icon to the right of the applicant name.  Reports are opened in Adobe Acrobat Reader (or full Adobe Acrobat if you have it).  You can view the report online and print a copy for your records (and for the applicant when that is required) from within Adobe. 

Managing Your Mailbox

Your Mailbox may become cluttered with old reports.  You can remove one or more items from your Mailbox, by checking the boxes adjacent to the applications you wish to delete and then clicking the "Remove" button.  The report is still in the system and can be retrieved through the Search function (see Applicant/Report Search).
