Our company is committed to maintaining the privacy of an applicant’s information in accordance with best practices and applicable laws.

We collect personal and business information:

  1. When an applicant calls, faxes, emails or visits our website to request information or customer service; and
  2. When a rental or employment application is completed and submitted for processing, wherein we collect address history, dates of birth, social security numbers, driver’s license numbers, email addresses, employment history, and other personal information; and
  3. When we perform consumer credit inquiries, search public records, conduct rental housing and employment verifications, etc.

Use of Collected Information

Personal and business information collected or developed by us is used solely to respond to an inquiry for the “Permissible Purpose” (tenant or employment screening) as authorized by the applicant.

Information Disclosure

Information obtained as part of the tenant or employment screening process is shared with the credit bureaus and others only to the extent necessary to complete a screening report, and to the landlord or employer designated by you and certified as having “Permissible Purpose,” under state and federal consumer reporting law.

Security policy

Access to personal or business information is limited to employees who require such information to screen a rental or employment application. We maintain strict physical, electronic and administrative security to protect personal information. Any third parties (credit bureaus, public records data providers, etc.) with whom we share personal information (as required to process the application) are bound contractually and by state and federal law to similarly safeguard your information.

Reviewing and Correcting Information

Upon request an applicant has the right to review and correct information.

Opt-out Provision

We do not share information except to process an application as instructed by an applicant, so there is no need to “Opt-Out.”.
